A protection action is not a live sighting alert

The official item describes patrol grids in key resting, feeding and migration areas, checks for illegal nets and traps, population monitoring and rescue. Police, market regulation and forestry departments will also act against illegal trade.

No species, counts, access routes or flock positions are published, so this is not a rarity tour. Bird only on public roads, attractions or clearly permitted recreation land. Patrol grids and survey stations are not visitor routes.

If you find nets, traps or trade evidence

Do not remove equipment yourself: it may destroy evidence, trigger a device or lead to confrontation. Leave the hazard, note the broad area, time, appearance and relevant person or vehicle details, then report through forestry, police or protected-area channels.

Do not livestream enforcement positions, patrol timing or alleged gaps, and do not publicly accuse anyone without verification. Preserve original files and timestamps for officers; strip location data and protect the reporter's identity publicly.

Injured birds and forest safety

For an injured or trapped bird, call a qualified service first and describe bleeding, wing position, breathing, entanglement and nearby hazards. Without instruction, do not cut it free, feed, force water or transport it far. If told to hold it temporarily, use a ventilated box kept quiet and dark.

Check autumn fire rules, weather and closures. Travel with others, leave before dark and do not leave trails to find nocturnal migrants. Playback, bright lights, feeding and drones are unacceptable. Ranger instructions override any online guide.
