青头潜鸭与白眼潜鸭怎样分

成年雄性青头潜鸭头部深色并有光泽，虹膜浅色，胸部栗色、体侧较浅；白眼潜鸭雄鸟整体栗褐更均一，白色虹膜和醒目的白色尾下覆羽常更突出。雌鸟和非繁殖羽差异更细微。

远距离应同时记录头形、头胸与体侧色块、眼色、尾下、翼带和潜水行为。水面反光会改变眼色与体色，单张模糊照片不足时保留“潜鸭属未定”或混群记录，不靠近补拍。

稀有水鸟出现后怎样保护观察

Read the nearly-100 figure correctly

The official text confirms a mixed flock of nearly 100 Baer's Pochards and Ferruginous Ducks; it does not say nearly 100 Baer's Pochards. It also says migration is under way and Baer's Pochards are beginning to choose wintering areas. This is a monitoring trend, not a promise that the flock remains on one waterbody.

Conservation staff use 43 digital watchtowers and AI for round-the-clock monitoring, and the report says Baiyangdian's bird list increased from 206 to 296 species. Long-term list growth does not mean a visitor can see 296 species in one day.

Separating Baer's and Ferruginous Pochards

An adult male Baer's Pochard has a dark glossy head, pale iris, chestnut breast and paler flanks. A male Ferruginous Duck is more evenly rich chestnut, with a white iris and often more conspicuous white undertail coverts. Females and non-breeding birds are subtler.

At distance, combine head shape, head-breast-flank pattern, eye, undertail, wing bar and diving behaviour. Glare can distort eye and body colour. If a blurred image is inadequate, retain an unidentified Aythya or mixed-flock record rather than approaching for another photograph.
